About Us

Formerly known as Stitch N Switch, Team Threads Athletics, LLC was established in 2025 with a renewed focus on professional and team-oriented services. Our founder and owner, Becky Zielinski, has been honing her craft since the age of eight. After the birth of her two children, Becky began offering alteration services, which eventually led to a remarkable career in professional sports tailoring.

In 2010, Becky joined the National Football League as a Team Seamstress. Her exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail quickly earned her national recognition. From tailoring practice and game-day uniforms for players to outfitting coaching staff, Becky’s ability to deliver the perfect fit set her apart in the industry.

Over the years, Becky has been sought after for custom jersey alterations and unique garment modifications for numerous professional athletes and celebrities. In 2015, she began working with the Cleveland Cavaliers. When the team reached the 2016 NBA Finals, Becky was called upon to alter the now-iconic ripped black sleeved jersey. After meeting with LeBron James, she created a prototype jersey, that led to the production of several of his game jerseys, including the one worn during the championship-winning game.

In 2017, Becky launched Stitch N Switch with the support of her daughters. After working in the professional sports industry for a number of years, Becky wanted to help fans bring new life to their old jerseys by providing a custom nameplate service. Over the years, Stitch N Switch helped save hundreds of jerseys across the country and world, from ending up forgotten in closets or discarded in landfills.

During the 2021 pandemic, the company expanded its services to include jersey numbering and alterations for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, and Cleveland Charge. In 2022, we worked with the USFL, adding inaugural patches for the Championship Game teams and continuing alterations until the league's eventual merger. That same year, we were honored to fit NBA players for the 75th Anniversary Team blazers at the NBA All-Star Game.

In 2024, our team started working with the Cleveland Guardians by providing patch application and alteration services. The company has also completed contract work for professional football organizations, as well as several collegiate programs.

In 2025, we officially rebranded as Team Threads Athletics, LLC to reflect our commitment to servicing team-based clients and professional organizations. We remain a proudly women-owned and operated business, dedicated to quality, precision, and personalized services.
